The Big Daddy gets carved

There is a paved road under that carpet of newly fallen leaves

Went to an early morning BEAUTIFULLY WINDY leaf worship service today, and although the phone camera doesn't do one leaf a morsel of color-filled justice, this was such a beautiful day I had to share it here. This is the in-between, the space in the middle, the short pause between fall and winter, where each leaf looks like red, orange and gold rain, still pristine on the ground and the earth is clothed in heaven.
